The story: Nyksund is located on the far west on Lofoten and Vesteralen islands in Northern Norway. It used to be a ghost town a few years ago but has now 16 permanent inhabitants... but not in December as it seems.
The hotel keeper wasn't there and the closest neighbours came to open it for us. (after a 30min walk).
So, we had the hotel+the town for us alone. That was great.
