Poor Lonesome Cow-boy

We already told you that one of our goals here is to fight against the prejudice that says: “Bob Dylan did nothing good after 1970″, and we already gave you some counterexamples (see here or there). Let’s continue this way, with a song that goes against another prejudice, the one which says “Bob Dylan only knows how to write lyrics, and his music sucks”. If somebody ever tells you that, answer him to go listening to Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, soundtrack of the eponymous movie, before saying such a stupid thing. Among the gorgeous tracks penned by Dylan for this album, there’s one particularly beautiful: the “Final Theme”, with an astounding flute. Enjoy it.
