Alone in The Dark

Robert Fripp released his Red album in 1974. Along with In the Court of the Crimson King, it is one of my favourite albums by his band. The last track of this LP is “Starless”, a song often mistaken with a track from King Crimson’s previous album: “Starless and Bible Black” from Starless and Bible Black. They have a few things in common but “Starless” is basically more listenable. Needless to say, this song perfectly fits our darkest moods: sad & oppressive. Lethal. Emotions even more delightfully emphasized with huge amounts of booze, drugs and “Epitaph“. Louder! Louder! Sickening Circle! [See post to listen to audio] King Crimson - Starless (1974)
